Reactivity

D-315 is a mixture of alkyl tributyl ketoxime silane. Tributanone oxime group is hydrolyzable, so the product is easily hydrolyzed when exposed to moisture (in contact with water).

D-315 can react with hydroxyl-containing polysiloxane in the presence of organotin catalyst to form cross-linked silicone rubber

Application

Be used as a cross-linking agengt for oxime RTV-1 sealant.

D-315 can be used as a crosslinker for one component neutral curing silicone sealant. It is usually the main choice of oxime RTV-1 sealant crosslinker. It can be used alone or in combination with other oximisilanes to provide desired properties (such as cure rate, adhesion, etc.).
